1. Subscription product
Open Clade Design sells digital subscription access to a hosted AI design workspace. Monthly subscriptions renew each month. Annual subscriptions renew each year and are billed upfront for the full year. Prices shown as monthly amounts for annual plans are effective monthly equivalents before VAT, sales tax, GST, or other taxes.
2. Cancellation
You can cancel renewal from the billing portal when available, or by emailing support. Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless required by law or this policy, cancellation does not automatically refund the current billing period.
After cancellation, paid access normally remains available until the end of the already paid billing period. We may cancel access sooner if the account violates the Terms of Service, payment network rules, or applicable law.
3. Refund eligibility
We will review refund requests using the following rules:
- First subscription purchase: eligible for a refund within 30 days of the initial checkout.
- Accidental renewal or mistaken upgrade: eligible for review within 7 days if no paid design generation was completed after that renewal or upgrade.
- Duplicate charge: eligible for correction or refund after verification.
- Service outage or billing error caused by us: eligible for refund, credit, or extension depending on the issue.
- Mandatory consumer rights: honored where applicable law gives you additional cancellation, withdrawal, or refund rights.
4. Non-refundable cases
Unless required by law, we normally do not refund:
- usage after the refund window has expired;
- partial months or partial years after cancellation;
- unused credits, unused generation estimates, or unused plan capacity;
- accounts terminated for abuse, fraud, chargeback misuse, prohibited content, or Terms violations;
- taxes or payment provider fees that cannot be recovered from the payment provider or tax authority.
5. How to request a refund
Send the request to cladedesign@purelymail.com from the account email if possible. Include the account email, invoice or receipt ID, plan name, checkout date, and a short explanation. We aim to respond within two business days.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through the payment provider. Bank and card network timing varies, but many refunds appear within 5 to 10 business days after the provider processes them.
6. Chargebacks and disputes
Please contact support before opening a payment dispute so we can investigate, cancel, or refund eligible charges faster. If a dispute is opened, we may pause account access while the payment provider and card network review the case.
7. Policy changes
We may update this policy for new plans, payment providers, legal requirements, or product changes. The refund policy in effect at checkout applies to that purchase unless a later policy is more favorable to you or applicable law requires otherwise.
